I graduated from Perrin High School and then attended Weatherford College, Midwestern State University and Tarleton State University.

I obtained a BBA in Marketing from Tarleton State then recieved my elementary teaching credentials through TMATE which is an alternative teacher certification program.

I am a Certified Academic Language Therapist and a State of Texas Licensed Dyslexia Practitioner. I have been trained in the Take Flight Dyslexia Intervention Curriculum by Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. I am also G.T. (Gifted and Talented) and E.S.L. (English as a Second Language) certified.

I have been married to Darren Francis since 1993. We have two sons, Forest and Hunter.

My husband and I live on a ranch in the Perrin area and have four dogs we love to spoil!

When I’m not thinking about school, I love to crochet, read and garden.
